School Catch Up Plan from Teamplay Outdoor Activities.
“in exploring the world, children often discover themselves”
Our school catch-up programmes are designed to suit your primary school’s individual needs. This enables us to incorporate aspects of the national curriculum the children are currently learning into the event. We can include Maths, English, Topic or Science.
Most importantly all the instructors and tutors we use have many years of experience in this line of work. This includes working with children from a variety of backgrounds. This could be those who have been through extreme traumas or have special education needs. Whatever their needs we are there to help and give support to those vulnerable children. We will endeavor to help them to regain trust, independence, and courage through our school catch-up programmes.
Firstly the sessions usually begin with an energizer to help get the children loosened up. We then go on to the main activity which is usually about 30 minutes. Finally, we conclude with a review session to help form a plan to move forwards with.
We find our school catch-up plans work really well over a half-term period so the children get the full benefit. This helps to build up the trust and the positives of learning outside the classroom. The sessions are generally either morning, afternoon, or the whole day.
If you are after an alternative sport for the children then we also provide our mobile archery service. A great activity to aid topics such as Vikings and Ancient Greece.
