Where to stay?
We are always looking for great places to stay around the Peaks because people want different experiences so this list could be endless. We’ve selected a few ideas for groups who want to keep it real…and those who just want a cosy bed for the night.
Secret Cloud House Holidays www.secretcloudhouseholidays.co.uk
The ultimate glamping and eco friendly place to stay, the secret cloud houses are the perfect place for groups of up to 16 people and are situated close to the towns of Ashbourne and Leek. Hoping for a touch of luxury, then what more could you ask for than a wood-fired hot tub to warm you up at the end of your adventure.
New Buildings Farm www.newbuildingsfarm.co.uk
An excellent place to spend a weekend or even longer. Self catering bunkhouse style accommodation. Plenty of open space to enjoy as well, a little gem on the outskirts of the Peak District and very handy as a base for all the activities we offer.
Thorpe Farm Bunkhouse www.thorpe-bunk.co.uk
Right in the heart of the Peak District close to the village of Hathersage (known for the Bronte sisters and Little John). Excellent venue and close to the Gritstone edges for climbing and caving in Castleton or Stoney Middleton. Our own Ultimate Challenge also takes place close by.
Stretton House www.strettonhousederbys.co.uk
Superb location and splendid accommodation in Derbyshire. The perfect place to escape to for a family reunion or that special birthday party. Stretton House is also an excellent facility for corporate events and highly accessible for the Peak District.
Mulino pods are set on top of the rolling Derbyshire hills with stunning views including Carsington Water. This unique site offers exclusive use of pods plus camping and true to its small and friendly values, the site is well thought out, luxurious and we think it’s a small gem!
